Andrew McQuesten
big boss/head chef
Andrew began his time at north in 2013 as a intern. Five years, a lot of laughs, a few tears, and a grip of hugs he is now the boss man around here. He is also the only guy to successfully shoot a (live & wild) turkey with a bow and arrow at the restaurant (though james tried but embarrassingly missed).
Lyndsey Conway
Front of House Manager
Lyndsey first joined us as a part time server, and has grown with the restaurant to become it’s front of house manager this year. She has a series of animals that exhibit both good and naughty behavior, as well as a penchant for baking cookies for the staff. She is the wonderful-est.
Rachel Asher
Beverage Director
Rachel is one of our longest running employees, and over the years has built a wine, beer, and cocktail list that represents everything that north is about - delicious, affordable(ish), and more than anything else, showcases a particular point of view.

owner
James opened north in 2012 with some friends. It became “successful” through a lot of hard work and absurd amount of luck. It doesn’t make any money because James is a terrible business person. But he is grateful for every guest that has come through the door, and every cook and front of house person that he has been lucky enough to work with. Here’s to keeping Providence weird.
